Your SAFETY and OUR RESPONSE TO the COVID-19 Virus
Dear Patients:
Last June 2020, we were excited to announce that after being closed for several weeks, except to treating emergencies, at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, we fully re-opened to treat all patients!
Prior to reopening, we performed a thorough review of every aspect of our procedures and office we added some extra safety equipment and protocols to insure that treating patients was not only safe but at a standard that met or exceeded the CDC & ADA guidelines.
We continue to maintain the highest standards in the fight against COVID-19 and will be adhering to their protocols.
We thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this unprecedented situation.
Infection control has always been a top priority at our office. Rest assured that we will continue to take steps to go above and beyond the recommended CDC and ADA guidelines. These additional measures are to ensure the safety and peace of mind for everyone who walks through our doors.
Please take a few moments to read about the actions in place to protect patients, our team and the community.
- We have added medical grade HEPA air filters and instituted air purification procedures. We have also placed plexiglass barriers at our reception counter. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer and antibacterial hand soaps are available throughout the office.
- Patients are prescreened and reminded to reschedule if they are feeling sick or have been exposed to someone who has tested positive to coronavirus in the past 14 days.
- We will continue to maintain social distancing in our office. All patients must wear a facemask prior to entering our office and keep their mask on until treatment is begun.
- In an effort to keep our waiting room sanitary, we ask that patients arrive on time and unaccompanied (if possible) for their appointment.
- All patients will use hand sanitizer upon entering the office and can expect to have their temperature taken with a touchless thermometer prior to treatment. Anyone with a fever will be asked to reschedule.
- Our staff will be wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) during procedures.
- We are scheduling extra time for appointments to allow for proper social distancing as well as enhanced operatory sterilization.
